DPA is a really fun indie rock crew that just started playing shows out. They look like they are having a lot of fun playing music together. 90's vibes, but the sound isn't rooted in any specific time. dig it!
The Blue Ribbons are a rocksteady trio. They are really great musicians and the whole set was super tight. They seem like they've been playing music together for a long time. They also played a cover of Attitude by The Misfits & the crowd loved it and people danced the whole time!
Welwing's set was super psychedelic, which was a nice transition from the dubby backdrop of The Blue Ribbons set. It was a pretty animated solo performance on laptop & controllers and it sounded great booming out of Manifest's speakers!
ILL HILL SOCIETY is rad. if you haven't seen them yet, do it. Three equally fresh emcees holding it down over a itunes playlist that will shake yr dome. their lyrics were on point, they rocked the crowd and their beats jump all over from radio 808 snare fills to dusty crate loops.
STOKED.
